cbdMD found success this weekend with two athletes taking home gold and silver medals at the third annual Rogue Invitational.
Taking place at Dell Diamond, a 12,000-seat outdoor stadium located in the greater Austin, Texas area, the Rogue Invitational is a CrossFit competition that features some of the biggest names in the sport. This three-day event promoted a plethora of CrossFit Games champions, young superstars and legends of the sport, and included a variety of intense competition.
“It’s always exciting to be a part of an event like this, and it’s even better to take home the gold. Following The CrossFit Games, I had to get back to my routine and focus on recovery, and doing so helped get me here. It’s been a great year so far and we’re looking forward to ending strong,” said back-to-back champion Justin Medeiros.
Annie Thorisdottir continued her streak of success as well, scoring a second-place finish at the competition. This comes hot on the heels of her bronze medal finish at this summer’s CrossFit Games.
